Festival of the Naked Sheep 10th June
With over 100 sheep to shear, our shearer - Benn Lugsden always has plenty to do on shearing day. The same is true for the rest of us but, of course, we have more of a choice. And this year there will be even more activities than usual to see and try.
Many of these are included in the entrance price, eg:
- Wool crafts
- Felting Rolling a fleece Spinning

- Weaving
- Knitting
- Shearing demonstrations
Other activities are available for an additional small fee, eg:
- *Treasure hunt
- *Face painting
- *Cupcake decorating
- *Papermache model making
- *Making felt items

A Teddy Bears' Picnic - Wonder Bears will be running a build your own bear workshop. 
Although there will be bears (no picnic would be complete without them) there will also be a choice of animals more usually found on a farm!
As usual, there will be woollen items to buy plus fleeces for sale - from the 7 breeds of sheep shorn on the day and any from the sheep kept by the spinners and weavers.
