Baylham House Farm is dedicated to the breeding of traditional varieties of farm livestock in order to help safeguard such breeds against the detrimental effects of commercial pressures. In furthering this aim, Baylham House livestock are provided with a stress free environment, comfortable living conditions, food and water.
The water features, the land, the infrastructure and the day to day running of Baylham House Farm are always maintained and managed in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
The public is invited to come and visit the farm, not as a commercial tourist attraction but as a working livestock farm. Visitors, both adults and children, are provided with advice and information to improve their knowledge of livestock, livestock farming and the need to care for the countryside and the natural environment. Specific educational programmes are provided for visiting schools.
